Interview with “This is Lizzard”

Lizanne Hennessey and husband Roland Stolk have returned to Orcas Island from their 9 month ‘vacation’ in the Holland!

You may have heard one of their well attended concerts on Orcas Island last year. Roland and Lizanne make up the the popular international duo ‘This is lizzard’. They are celebrating their return to the Island, by sharing their music with a CD, now available online here. A portion of the proceeds from their musical work is donated to humanitarian causes.

I met with them at Enzo’s on Orcas Island today and recorded an interview. How did they get started? How did they meet? Was it romance from the start? What is home in Holland like and how does it compare to Orcas…

These Fire Stations are manned on Orcas until 911 is back: 21Eastsound, 23Rosario, 25Olga, 22Westsound, 24Deer Harbor, 26Orcas, 27Doe Bay.

Land and cell phone on Orcas, incl 911 is currently down. Go to main fire station if 911 type help is needed. CenturyLink is working issue.
