The science of public relations includes a deep understanding of how people make decisions. Parts of the brain are involved in voting. We can be smarter. We should be smarter about self-governance. Can we use our will to overcome the emotional manipulation of advertising during the election season?

Could it be that Election Campaign strategists are hiring heavy hitting Public Relations groups? Are are some politicians using emotional irrational behavior to dictate their strategy only. By manipulating emotion bad leaders feel they can alter how the majority behaves. Let’s not let them.

Understanding the mechanics applied to manipulating people empowers individuals. The majority can make rational, human, empathetic decisions.
